DISC_ARCHIVE is a Berlin-based vinyl cutting house, crafting high-quality vinyl dubplates for artists, record labels, and DJs - all handmade, cut in real-time, one-by-one using a lathe. Established in 2017, Kristen and Mikale aim to strengthen community self-sufficiency and self-determination by providing an alternative to existing structures within the music industry - fostering creative alliances rooted in trust, reciprocity, and encouragement. The studio collaborates across various audio / music genres, working with record labels and organizations such as Pinkman Records, BFDM Records, Welt Museum Vienna, Cashmere Radio, Polygonia, OL, Zoe McPherson, Neighborhood Character, Perila, and more. In addition to vinyl production, the couple is also known as GOD69 & low budget aliens, creating music that spans a wide spectrum, from rowdy club tracks to lush downtempo compositions. They've performed at venues and events including Berlin Atonal, Public Records, and OHM, and contributed to labels such as xpq?, INDEX:, Herrensauna, and Radiant Love.
