Maz/ dr Mazza - Marie-Ermelinda Mayassi is a Paris-born Congolese, London-based, DJ, creative curator, photographer, public speaker and socially engaged community organiser. Marie-Ermelinda has explored the tangibility of curating safe(r) spaces for marginalised communities for five years, Marie-Ermelinda founded Skate Gals & Pals and Melanin Skate Gals & Pals aiming at empowering women and gender-queer individuals, LGBTQIA+ Black and People of Colour (BPOC) through skateboarding, music and culture. Based in East London, dr Mazza is inspired by their French, Congolese and British upbringing playing (but not limited to) an eclectic range of electronic music from leftfield techno to GQOM and jersey. dr Mazza aims to channel their unconditional love for the dancefloor through sharing their favourite blend of genre.
