GHBOI

Ghboi (Ghana-boy) is a Beijing and Accra-based DJ known for her ability to curate the perfect vibe for her audiences. With a diverse musical palette as a multi-genre DJ, Ghboi's signature style features a fusion of Afro-diasporic music, Hip-hop/R&B, house, Afro house, Baile funk, Amapiano, Afrobeat, Gqom, Dancehall, Grime, and other high-tempo dance music. A trailblazer in her field, the surprise element of Ghboi’s stage name serves as a trigger to spark conversation about various issues women face in creative and music industries, in an effort to break barriers and encourage equity. Her passion for music also translates into her passion for teaching. She is a DJ workshop tutor for Oroko Radio and DJ instructor for the WATWMXN x Pioneer DJ Academy in Accra.
