About the artist
With a curious ear for percussive and bass driven sounds, IYESHA draws upon her diverse London upbringing and Sierra Leonean heritage to showcase a versatility that sets her apart from the rest. She sculpts a sonic fusion of genres, expertly and carefully weaving together selections of wonky and experimental club edits with global rave sounds. A stalwart member of Leeds’ DIY Party scene, IYESHA is co-founder of free party turned club night and collective Rat Party. The collective work to provide safer spaces for QTIPOC, Sex Workers and the Gender Diverse in the North, driven by a community based ethos which revolves around platforming up and coming DJs alongside global names.
