Sometimes accidents can be doors that open up new perspectives. This is the case of Eddy aka Lorkestra - then a dancer for Massala, a breakdance company with which he skimmed competitions. 2014 marks the end of his first life, following an injury. A time that Lorkestra uses to devote himself to music. A natural switch from dancer to Dj, keeping his keen sense of rhythm.

He began to make a name for himself in Parisian clubs but also in Portugal, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium where he performed frequently. In 2019, his tours in Canada and in Asia (Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur) were a great success. He developed his unique sound travelling and performing in all these parts of the world, powered by the crowd’s energy.

Coming from the suburbs of Paris, he took his inspiration in the crossing between all these cultures, creating a style of his own based on an electronic sound, he is capable of switching from Afro House/Baile Funk/Gqom to Uk bass/garage...

Internationally, radio stations such as Soulection, BBC1xtra, Rinse FM and Triple J became fond of his releases. His remixes are being played around the world on the biggest stage like Coachella and in several Boiler room shows.
