Monthati is a music composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and actor, who have a deep love for African indigenous knowledge and afrofuturism. They use all their varied art forms to tell stories about forgotten histories and hidden archives. Even as their works stretch from classical orchestral writing to experimental electronics, their agenda is always black and queer and fluid. They find any and every way to represent their marginalized communities.
