About the artist
Mooki6 is a Franco-Guadeloupean multidisciplinary A/V artist exploring the intersection of sound, movement, and raw energy. His sets, productions and performances fuse deconstructed, intense rhythms and textures, pulling from Dancehall, Drum & Bass, Bouyon, Dub, Gqom, Trap, Grime, Punk and Metal, to create immersive sonic assaults that defy genre conventions.
Drawn to the fractured echoes of Diasporic soundscapes Mooki6 builds deeply visceral experiences where propulsive beats and layered distortion become a reflection of body and identity. His performances are raw, emotional journeys, cathartic rituals where rage and joy intertwine.
As a member of the Afrodescendant Barcelona-based Jokkoo Collective, Mooki6 has become a key figure in the city’s underground scene, performing at iconic venues like Razzmatazz, Apolo, FOC and at festivals such as Primavera, Sónar, CTM (Berlin/Berghain), Nyege Nyege (Uganda). Mooki6 is also part of curatorial work, including co-programming Madrid’s Electrónica en Abril Festival (Casa Encendida) and co-managing FOC, a multidisciplinary arts space. Currently, Mooki6 is developing two new solo EPs, "0 Mass" and "Virgo", alongside collaborative projects NEXUS, BLKM3TA and OidosOdio, further pushing the boundaries of sound, body, and resistance.
