SHE Spells Doom is an experimental Electronic music project created by Zambian producer, Wamya Tembo. It draws inspiration from a number of his influences, such as: 80s Sci-Fi/Horror movies, (Congolese) Rhumba/Soukous, Gqom and early 2000s Rap production, which he mixes with House and Techno elements he picked up from time living in Geneva, Switzerland. His style can best be described as hazy but driving - usually seeking to create a visceral atmosphere without neglecting the dancefloor by combining trademark airy synth-lines with heavy drum programming. The past few years have seen him release work on labels such as Creme Records, Monstart, Sweat Equity, HTS, All Centre and Tresor.
