The Honorable Hakim Dough is an accomplished DJ - Artist - Producer and community advocate from Newport News, VA, who established much of his musical career in Chicago, IL prior to relocating to Dakar, Senegal where he is currently using his gifts and talents to bridge the diaspora through the arts. The Honorable Hakim Dough's Senegalese and Afro American heritage, moste recently inspired him to create music that projects his deep connection to his Mother and Father land.

Hakim considers his ability to DJ a superpower that brings people from all walks of life together in the name of good music, art, peace, self discovery, enlightenment, and having fun. Hakim has an in-depth understanding of various musical genres from across the globe, and a well-rounded perspective of the industry as a whole as he participates in it as an artist and a businessman.
