African Instrument Studies invites Aliddeki Brian & Muhamago (Muha)

With Guests: Aliddeki Brian is a recording artist, educator and Uganda traditional multi-instrumental-ist. He calls his music, world folk music from Uganda.
He has Performed on major stages like, Blankets and Wine Kampala Festival (2022), Nyege Nyege Festival (2022), Fete Dela Musique Kampala (2022), Afropalooza Festival (2022), One Song Concert (2022), SofarKampala and sofar Kigali (2021&2023), Kwegonza Avenue Festival (2022) ,Ekyooto Ha Mpango (2021) to mention but a few.
Muhamago (Muha) is a Mozambican composer and sound artist known for merging traditional Mozambican folklore with electronic music, using instruments like the Mbira Nyunga Nyunga and field recordings. His work highlights the connection between sound and geography, including innovative uses of tools like ArcGIS.
A passionate conservationist, Muhamago collaborates with Gorongosa National Park, capturing soundscapes inspired by its landscapes and communities to promote biodiversity and sustainable development. He is also a member of the NEWF - Compose Yourself Lab in partnership with the National Geographic Society, further advancing his mission of storytelling through music.
