Afrohunting Radio invites Juba

With Afrohunting

At Afrohunting Radio, we celebrate the sounds and stories shaping global club culture. This time, we’re proud to feature DJ Juba, a London-born, Berlin-based DJ whose sets are a high-energy fusion of afrobeats, gqom, and amapiano. With an ear for bass-heavy rhythms and a passion for spotlighting underrepresented voices, Juba brings a fresh perspective to the decks—one that moves both the dancefloor and the conversation forward.

With Guest: We’re excited to introduce DJ Juba, a London-born DJ of Nigerian heritage, currently based in Berlin. With a deep passion for global club sounds, she seamlessly blends afrobeats, gqom, amapiano, and bass-heavy rhythms, creating electrifying sets that transcend borders. Beyond the decks, Juba is a cultural storyteller and advocate for gender diversity in music. She co-founded Boko! Boko!, a collective championing women and gender minorities in the electronic scene. Her documentary Assurance sheds light on the realities of female DJs in Lagos, Nigeria, amplifying voices that are often overlooked. Through her work, Juba bridges communities, challenges norms, and celebrates the ever-evolving sounds of the African diaspora. Her sets are more than just music—they're a statement, a movement, and an invitation to dance.
