I first heard her at UNFOLD in London earlier this year during the Black Artist Database takeover, where we both played. Her set stayed with me, sharp, driving, and bold in a way that instantly made sense for this show. We’ve been talking about doing this episode for a while, so I’m glad it’s finally landing here.
