With Guest: Lalo Cortes. The Afro-Bogotanian composer and singer arrives with her debut album, Reencuentro (Re encounter). An open skin portrait of her experience as a colored woman in a city as diverse and intolerant as Bogota, Colombia. One can feel her rooted hip-hop background with tints of early 2000s and soulful R&B and Neosoul; with her previous experience as back up singer for iconic Colombian rappers such as N. Hardem and singers like Briela Ojeda, Lianna and Juan Pablo Vega. With this first album she has received massive national support, thanks to her sincere and open gutted lyrics, fantastic vocal skills and mysterious yet sweet melodies that one can find throughout her music
