This edition of “Dream The Spirit Free” features extracts from the “Oputa Panel”. Initiated by President Olusegun Obasanjo, the commission investigated human rights violations during the military rule of 1984 to 1999 in a bid to seek reconciliation and justice.

Today, Nigerians celebrate the restoration of democratic rule once again, still, we dream of a government that will truly work for the collective good.
