With Guest: Omi, also known as Omar Gabriel, is a transdisciplinary musician and artist of Jamaican, Italian and Brazilian background. Their work confronts the complexity of the black diasporic condition, from the standpoint of a mixed heritage and queer perspective, diving into the decolonial struggle and Afro-Atlantic identity, unlearning the Western
academic to reflect on the re-appropriation of identity through ancestral technologies and spirituality.
