With Guest: DJ AK - Hey it’s DJ AK coming to you from the River Lea in East London. Started DJing when I was 18 to fund my way through medical school, starting out for friends at house parties then moving up to society events and university balls coning the nickname ‘Doctor-DJ'. This meant Djing for a variety of people and cultures, Folk Society to Korean Society. University radio show to Salsa and the Pole Fitness society. Events took me to clubs and clubs lead to residencies. Now I’m trying to disrupt the community music scene by throwing free parties this festival season to allow people the outdoor experience without the cost. I call it the NDV Music Project and it takes place in Hackney East London.
