Dopo and Akoto invite Daniel Tetteh Nartey
With Guest: Daniel Tetteh Nartey (b. 1991) is a Ghanaian pop-surrealist artist. Working primarily with acrylics and oils on canvas, he ingeniously disorients the human body, presenting it as a potent metaphor for societal structures and individuals. His practice sparks conversations about embracing individual uniqueness within collective unity, inviting audiences to contemplate the harmonious coexistence of diverse identities. Daniel earned his degree from the Ghanatta College of Art and Design. His works have been shown in solo and group exhibitions at Worldfaze Art Practice (Accra, Ghana), Arushie Gallery (Los Angeles, CA), Band of Voices (Los Angeles, CA), Christopher Moller Gallery (Cape Town, South Africa), Bilbrad Gallery (Miami, FL), McLennon Pen Co. Gallery (Austin, TX), Beeler Gallery (Columbus, OH), and Contemporary Art Matters Gallery (Columbus, OH).
