Our show for this month is a celebration with our Muslim brethren from Ghana as they celebrate Eid after the holy month of Ramadan. We are exploring the contemporary music from communities in Ghana where the main religious practice is Islam. From Dancehall to Afrobeats, the Zongo and Northern Ghana geographical regions have and continually influenced and produce some amazing music. This show is an iceberg tip of the plethora of music that is coming from these areas; it is a playlist to celebrate with our good friends who live in these areas, and also an introduction of the sound to you who appreciate the cultural dynamism of our space.

We are Accra's urban storytellers; from music, fashion, arts, events, etc., we amplify the voices of our contemporary culture.
