We are celebrating African Union Day by curating a playlist that explores some African EDM genres on our show for this month. The creative art expressions particularly music have been a key uniting force, especially in recent times across the continent. Negative stereotypes, imaginary boundaries, and other things which prevented our cohesion from a top to bottom approach are being cleared by the impact of Azonto, Amapiano, Afrobeats, Batida, Kwaito, and other genres. This playlist is a celebration of the electronically produced danced song from and influenced by this continent which is driving the African renaissance.
