Raised on a healthy diet of Reggae ,Dub and West African music, Rotterdam’s SAMWHO knows a thing or two about rhythm and bass. Identifying these influences in futuristic club tracks from the likes of Well Street Records and Livity Sound to Sacred Rhythm Music and Principe Discos, he taps into a musical lineage that traces back to his Cape Verdean roots. Co-founding Anda Electronix in 2020 alongside a Rotterdam-based crew of artists with African heritage, you can find him organising parties that combine sounds from the continent with the electronic music they have so deeply influenced.
