Special Guest: Yas

For this show, Tina Tornade invites Yas from Shakti. Yas decides to propose a selection she made for the ghanian artist, Ibrahim Mahama's exposition - The Memory of Love - which is actually visible at the FRAC museum in Nantes. A journey between Dub, UK Garage, Drum and Bass about the thematic of love memories.

Yas is a Nantes based DJ, and she cofound Shakti’s duo a few month ago with a friend of her, the two of them evolving in the same urban and underground environment. They are one of the new fresh blood shaking Nantes’ alternative parties. Her stricly vinyls selections are always full of hypnotics dub gems, drum and bass stuff and UK garage pieces of art.

Tina Tornade may be sowing the wind but for sure her music reaps the whirlwind. Hard Drum, Percussive Techno, Breaks, Dancehall or even Drum’n’bass : she gathers all melodious percussions. She adores confusing rhythms, those making your heart beat as much as your hips move.
