The UK’s rare sunshine is finally here to stay and its giving me energy. After a long, grey stretch, this mix celebrates the heat but not in the typical feel-good way. It’s a nod to summer, yes, but one charged with raw aggression and rhythms that echo back to the motherland. Think sweaty dances, restless reflection, and soundscapes for spirits present and absent.

Inspired by close friends and kin who’ve recently dropped their own summer anthems, this is my version: unruly, emotional, and full of heat. Across this show, I’ve also been thinking about presence.How we show up, who we show up for, and what it means to really be in an experience.
