Obeka introduces his first Tempo Shift Show guest with singer, songwriter and pianist Marina Afares hailing from São Paulo Brazil. The special features bespoke selections deeply rooted in Brazilian heritage alongside an in-depth discussion on being young, female and Black in a colonial system with special words on how we can help future generations.

With Guest: Doubly awarded by the Nova Era Festival (2020) as best original composition and best song chosen by the public, Marina Afares is a singer, songwriter, pianist, recent Onebeat Alumini, actress and vocal coach. In September 2020, she released her first EP entitled Dissolveu which had a launch show in a live format by Estúdio Medusa. Since 2021, she has released feats and participated in tracks with artists like Jairo Pereira, Victor Cali, Lando Lavarra (Cuba), João Parahiba, Flora Piquerobi and Onã. Her music research mixes Brazilian traditional music, neosoul/modern jazz, hiphop and pop R&B.
