My mixes are always a reflection of my current mental and musical mindstate, and this latest mix of Oroko is no different. This mix is a reflection of a chaotic, busy period in my life, characterized by consuming a lot of new music and having to non-stop commute by train. In that regard, it's all over the place; genres constantly come and go and the result is an anything-goes soundscape that's as inspired by funk carioca, kuduro and k-pop as it is by hard drum, dubstep and acid techno.
