ISHEJA CHERYL also known as Binghi is a Rwandan singer/songwriter, music producer and dj. She also experiments with audio visual installation. Born on the 7th of May 1995, she currently resides in Kigali, Rwanda.

She is a self-taught music producer, specifically exploring experimental music/electronic/Deep Techno and Spiritual drum pattern. She is experimenting with audio visual installations that treat the relationship between drums, body movement, acceptance and healing.

In 2021, the movie in which she was the lead actress, Neptune frost, debuted in Festival de Cannes in France and continued its journey in different film festivals such as the Toronto Film Festival, New York Film Festival and in 2022, Sundance Film Festival and Miami Film Festival to name a few.

Rwandese producer, DJ and performance artist Binghi brings flair and surprise to each of her sets, known to play all night sessions in Kampala or Kigali, her sound blends contemporary African electronica with UK influences, Caribbean hybrids and earlier US house and techno, connecting dots across time and space to always underlie the urgency in ecstasy. Played everywhere from Berlin to Kampala.
