In this episode, Vivian Moinelle joins Peruvian music producer and DJ Vudufa in celebrating Afro-Peruvian culture and its contributions to the world —as June is dedicated to this endeavor in the Andean nation. The show kicks off with Vivian’s own mix of sounds and feelings, followed by a captivating conversation with Vudufa (including a soundscape inspired by it) and a guest mix filled with sounds highlighting the untold stories of the African diaspora in Peru.

With Guest: Vudufa originated in Lima in 2018 as a new project by Peruvian producer and rapper Pounda. The aim was to explore different musical styles and incorporate Afro-Peruvian and folk rhythms. The name "Vudufa" is inspired by "the Burrofa," a mythical demonic dancer from the folk dance "Los Diablicos de Huancabamba" of Piura, and by Vodou, an essential part of mysticism and African culture. Vudufa has been featured in several international and national compilations and has released music with notable labels including Radio Chiguiro from France, Basy Tropikalne from Poland, and New Latam Beats from Chile, as well as with his own label called Respect Beats.

Vudufa nace en Lima en 2018 como una propuesta alternativa del productor y rapero peruano Pounda, con el objetivo de ampliar su rango de experimentación musical e incorporar ritmos afroperuanos y folclóricos. Inspirada en "el Burrofa", un danzante mítico demoníaco de la danza folclórica "Los Diablicos de Huancabamba" de Piura, y haciendo referencia fonética al Vudú, parte esencial del misticismo y la cultura africana. Vudufa ha participado en numerosos compilados internacionales y nacionales, y ha publicado música con sellos importantes como Radio Chiguiro de Francia, Basy Tropikalne de Polonia, New Latam Beats de Chile, entre otros, así como también con su propio sello llamado Respect Beats.
