Binghi is seemingly never still. singer/music producer, and Dj, the Rwanda artist also experiments with exhibitions and installations, having directed 3 audio visual works. 'Actress' is also on that cv, with multiple film credits and her first lead role in the 2021 sci-fi musical Neptune Frost. Now a self taught producer exploring experimental, electronic, and deep techno, her love for spiritual drum patterns also led her to work as a Dj. She draws her inspiration from the African music scene of the 60s from East to West and more contemporary scenes from South America. She offers us hard-hitting and borderless sets between Cumbia, UK funk, Gqom and techno hip hop; she lets her multiple influences express themselves like DJ Nicola Cruz and the Nyege Nyege label with which she collaborates, to deliver us the pearls of the African underground electronic scene.
