About the artist
MELANIN was born and currently lives in Paris. Senegalese and Franco-Algerian mixed race, she uses music to help form different understandings of her cultural and musical identity. Based in Seoul, South Korea, from 2018 to 2021 for studies then work, MELANIN promotes Korean underground music through the organization of events and support for South Korean talents in France. Her mixes are an invitation to travel and a reflection on the asian and african identity linked to the diaspora and club culture.
