Last year, we crossed the Atlantic Ocean for the first time and traveled to Madrid (among other cities), where we met our friend Fortalezza. Thanks to the magic of the internet, that part was only the physical meeting, as the ancestral brotherhood and cultural exchange had already been happening for some time. It's a great joy to be able to showcase artists from the diaspora worldwide, without barriers or borders that limit us from appreciating and celebrating each other.
With Special Guest: Born and raised in the southern part of Madrid, Fortalezza is a DJ of Central African descent who draws inspiration from various genres such as Afrohouse, NeoSoul, R&B, and Moombahton, as well as artists like Kaytranada, Wizkid, and Masego. He began his career in late 2020 and has since performed at events such as Voodo Club Boiler Room, Fuego de Razz Matazz in Barcelona, and Bompa at the legendary Sala Caracol in Madrid. Among his mixes, you can expect to find Amapiano, Afrohouse, and Soundcloud edits, but he is also open to embracing other genres such as Jersey Club.
