Badgal Antics

With Badgalbob, fat-lïp

On this month's episode of Badgal Antics, I'm SO excited to share my favourite mix to date: Bob's Mixtapes Vol. 4: LEVELS. I unofficially started this series last year to showcase my growth during my DJ journey and creative evolution as I discover new music, travel more, meet new people and experience more cultures around the world. This one is aptly named LEVELS because I really outdid myself methinks! It's giving Global Majority, electronic AF, it's giving high energy. Featuring some of my favourite African artists such as Somadina, Hagan, Gafacci, S!rene, and Sensei Lo. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Right after I'm followed by one of my favourite discoveries of 2023: I met Savannah aka fat lïp during her most recent iteration of her club night (and Diasporic archive), Vexed— where she held it down for 5 hours never letting us rest. It was pure vibes from start to finish. Check out a glimpse of their musical prowess on this guest mix.

Enjoy!
