In this show Kem Kem invites artist-researcher Henrique J. Paris for a conversation around his recent work 'Padrões da Polifonia'. Together they trace Paris' history his roots in Angola and upbringining in Portugal, the movement bodies and sound between the two states and the sonic resonance of his multifaceted practice. Paris introduces Kem Kem to some incredible Angolan music; such as the music of RS Productions, a music collective at the forefront of defining the new Angolan/Portuguese sound. Together their conversation spans from Tina M. Campt and actor Jet Li to the genres of Batida and Kuduro.
