After a beautiful and inspiring journey, the Global Music Movement radio residency on Oroko comes to a heartfelt close.
Since its first broadcast, the show has been a home for connection, rhythm, and creative exchange — a space where sounds from across the world met stories, ideas, and friendships. Over time, both artists behind the project have continued to grow and evolve in their own creative directions.
Megatronic, now based in Lisbon, keeps touring internationally and recently unveiled her powerful new EP There’s Truth in Gospel.
Curls, now based in Paris, has launched the first episode of the podcast Super Lucky, while continuing to DJ and develop new visual and photographic work.
As they each take time to deepen their individual practices, both remain united under the Global Music Movement spirit — with hopes to return, renewed and stronger, to share even more music and community.
The team extends deep gratitude to everyone who listened, danced, supported, and believed in the vision. The residency may be ending, but its energy and inspiration will continue to resonate — this is not goodbye, only a pause before the next chapter.
