In this mix, Father Dukes weaves together dreamy house tracks to create an ode to the genre. Originally a house DJ, Father Dukes pays homage to her roots learning to mix and initially performing house music before eventually incorporating a variety of other sounds into her repertoire. She embraces 4 to the floor beats, a rich amount of vocal tracks, bumpin bass, and her favorite ingredient, a little weird acid trippiness that has purveyed through her current and increasingly diverse mixes and performances. Through this mix Father Dukes urges listeners to think of how far they've come in endeavors of their own and thank their past self for setting a foundation for who they've evolved into today.

With Guest: Constantly exploring new sounds, Father Dukes seeks to create an eclectic and energetically charged dancefloor. As an Ohio native based in Detroit, Father Dukes uses dance music to unite, move, and free people of various walks of life.

Father Dukes has been involved in Detroit nightlife and living in Detroit for almost a decade. Starting out in the city as a music enthusiast and arts & culture journalist, she decided to take the turntables into her own hands and began a journey in DJing. Her musical peers and the powerful musical legacy of Detroit are deeply inspirational to her.
