With Guest: DON’T CALL ME TAKO is a London based DJ & Producer from Lisbon weaving and exploring the evolution of all things Black and Electronic. In a year of pure shellings, DON’T CALL ME TAKO headlined at City Splash, UK Black Pride and more - selling out their first event: ‘DON'T CALL ME TAKO presents Pixelated’ at The Hackney Social.

Having played at renowned venues like Fabric, Ministry of Sound, Village Underground Lisboa, EartH, Corsica Studios and so many more, DCMT draws on their Lusophone roots to explore Black Electronic Dance Music’s evolution, and similarities between scenes – with a goal to feed and blend interconnected cultures.

With features at the BBC, Complex UK and No Signal Radio (Mothaland), they’re a member of The Blacker The Berry Project, a Black queer-led multidisciplinary arts collective championing artists in the Diaspora, Africa, the Caribbean, as well as Latin and South America!
