Inspired by the Afro-Cuban traditions I grew up with, "maferefun…" blends my sonic heritage with broader African and diasporic electronic sounds to create the spiritual session of my heart—an intimate space where we can experience collective radical joy and essential healing. It bridges my nostalgia for La Habana, Cuba, with my excitement for the future, all while staying grounded in the present to celebrate the stories of love, resilience, and spirituality that unite us. This show is my heartfelt love letter to my ancestors and Orishas, filled with gratitude for my blessings and dreams of a brighter, fairer tomorrow for all.
