Chanting mountains, drumming oceans - NIA Records invites MIAN.

With Guest: MIAN crafts a sound via intricate storytelling and waves of (e)motions. Having developed their talent in the womb-like living room of Berlin’s kwia, MIAN has come to be recognized for signature sets merging touches of ambient, deconstructed club and deep pop/rnb cuts evoking queer melancholia.

MIAN's musical sensibilities are also deeply entwined with their Indonesian heritage, with playful rhythms and tangled sonics of Southeast Asia never far from view.

MIAN is currently a resident and co-curator of the bi-monthly event Enchantix, focused on live performances as well as emerging local and international queer talent.
