Mauricio Sacramento, aka ‘Fresh Prince da Bahia', is 26 years old, was born in Salvador and carries a cultural background that has provided a connection with various movements from different diasporas around the world. As CEO/Founder of BATEKOO, he created the project's musical identity from researching culture, behavior and music in the black community from the inside out. He usually takes a trip between the musical productions born on the outskirts of Brazil and the world, influenced by creativity mix with electronic beats and connecting rhythms to others. Like funk, rap/hip hop, trap, kuduro, afrobeat, dancehall, reggaeton, breafunk, pagodão da bahia to the self-titled rhythm "eletrokoo”, which mixes black beats with electronic rhythms.
