The TRC Show is proud to present producer, artist and cultural pioneer, Kuvie as our special guest for Episode 3. Kuvie takes us through the songs and moments of his life that shaped his career, musical taste and who he is as an artist and individual today. This is the soundtrack to his life.

Special Guest: Nestor Kwame Ankuvie, professionally known as ‘Kuvie’, is a Ghanaian record producer and afrobeats hit-maker. He co-pioneered Villain Sounds, a former production company established in 2014, and is well-known for his seamless fusion of simple grooves, urban trap and hip-hop, with African rhythms. He has turned tables with his eclectic and refreshing take on Afro-fusion, shaping the sound of several prominent Ghanaian artists today most notably Joey B, Pappy Kojo, and La Même Gang who he co-manages.

The TRC show is an ode to “the process and the journey” that leads up to great art and moments in history. Each episode features a curation of songs by your host Bobrectangle and selected guest curators, based on their lives & careers, or a chosen theme. Curators will take listeners on a journey, complete with anecdotes and insights, giving a front-row seat to the minds and experiences of your favourite creatives at the epicentre of artistic and cultural movements across the country and continent.
