With Guest: Archives.ivoire is an Instagram-based media platform rooted in the exploration of femininity and visual representation in Côte d’Ivoire’s rich audiovisual culture. Founded in May 2020 by researcher Marie-Hélène Banimbadio Tusiama, the project began as a digital archive of feminine beauty and expression during the golden era of Ivorian pop culture—a period when Côte d’Ivoire led the African entertainment scene.

As nostalgia and cultural reclamation shape global narratives, Archives Ivoire offers a timely and unique perspective. Since 2023, Archives.ivoire has grown to include film curation and editorial storytelling, creating a thoughtful space where cultural memory, aesthetics, and identity come together.
