For this twelfth episode, we’ve invited Hibotep, delivering a high-energy and expansive set that swirls into a boundless trance, driven by basslines that hit with surgical precision.
Hibotep is a multidisciplinary force. DJ, musician, filmmaker, fashion designer, installation artist, and nomad. A rebel at heart, she stands at the forefront of Kampala’s new wave of subversive creatives, crafting change through fearless, deeply personal expression.
A true polymath, Hibotep draws from a wide range of disciplines to create a body of work that defies boundaries and categories. But first and foremost, she lives to move crowds. A mainstay in Kampala’s underground club scene and a regular at the iconic Nyege Nyege Festival, her high-octane sets fuse hip hop, techno, house, trap, and any other sound that sparks her curiosity.
The result? Raw, unpredictable, sweat-drenched energy, built for the dancefloor, but grounded in something deeper.
