I am an Ethiopian multidisciplinary artist based in Barcelona, Spain. My journey began as a dancer and performer in Addis Ababa, where I was immersed in East African traditional sounds. Faced with a lack of East African musical spaces in Spain, I transitioned to curating and blending ancestral East African music with contemporary electric sounds.

I hold a degree in International Relations, where my focus lies in exploring the intersection of political structures and culture. I firmly believe culture can legitimize and stabilize political systems, and I view art as a form of political resistance.

Currently, I co-host the "Salamafricapodcast," which offers a diverse, unfiltered perspective on Africa's challenges and visions, bridging voices from within Africa and the global African diaspora.

In essence, my work revolves around the fusion of tradition and innovation, culture and politics, as I seek to foster cross-cultural understanding and contribute to contemporary global dialogues.
