Yasmina Karrum grew up between two worlds, in the border town of Melilla and Morocco. The cultural richness of her Amazigh roots have been defining her personality and musical style. With the soul in the Rif and the feet in the diaspora, she takes care of the roots through music, vindicating and reinventing the sounds of the Tamazgha in her mixtures; uniting arab influences in an electronic envelope. Her music is the image of her journey: resistance, poetry and percussion.
