Greetings from the ANANSI Revolutionary collective
You’re tuned into the ANANSI Radio club. Your host for the hour, Coco Em will be sharing a selection of frequencies that have been moving her in this month. From psychedelic fever dreams of Akira Umeda, multilingual raps and chants of MC Yallah, both fresh off their recent releases on the Nyege Nyege tapes ‘Hakuna Kulala’ label, to her all time favorites, Deena Abdelwahed, KOKOKO and more. Also featured is a short piece, from Coco's alter ego 'Mbeke with the good hair', a first of what hopefully will unfold into a series of deep expression and sharing.
Enjoy.
