DAMAGE invites producer and sound designer Zain Wolf for this month's edition of CHOKEHOLD. Known as the "electronic music producer's producer", Zain showcases a mix of mostly his own productions.

With Guest: Zain Wolf is born in Johannesburg and currently residing in Cape Town, South Africa, hailed as the “electronic music producer's producer” with over 15 years experience in music production, sound design and composition. He boasts a string of releases on various independent labels - SATURATE!, Upscale, Renraku and Vale over the past 10 years. Not only limited to writing music for albums and EPs, Zain has scored adverts for BIG LIFE, music featured on Glossier, sound designed for Amazon ads and various indie games. Currently conspiring with Audeobox, as part of the team creating samples and sample packs and SATURATE! - as a social media manager and label management.

Often left out of the conversation but an influence on its topics, Zain Wolf, formerly known as Phizicist has not only contributed to the growth of the electronic party scene, but has always been willing to push the bounds of electronic music production - never sticking to one genre and wearing many hats. As Phizicist - his album “Macabre” (released on Upscale) has become a cult favourite amongst many prolific artists such as Gyrofield, Chee, Buunshin and Culprate all singing their approval of this lost artefact.
