With Guest: Malik Abdul-Rahmaan is a music producer and prolific record collector with an expansive music vocabulary spanning global histories and cultures. A recent Western Massachusetts transplant via Brooklyn, Malik, in recent years, has created works for the likes of Ghostface Killah, Pink Siifu, Navy Blue, Yung Morpheus, Cavalier, Oddisee and a slew of others while maintaining a respected status as a veteran and mainstay in the NYC beat scene. As a crate digger, Malik honed his craft working for several years at the legendary A-1 Record Shop in Manhattan. When he's not adding to his already expansive jazz record collection, he’s busy crafting new projects for future release and holding down a residency at Brooklyn's Public Records.
