Ka Lerato La Love explores the varied expressions, aspects & emotions in the realm of love through a medley of classic and contemporary Afrohouse, Amapiano & Afrotech love songs. Curated to tug at your heartstrings while enabling a deeper connection to the heartbeat of the music, the first part of the show sonically delves into the warmth, love, and belonging of home, along with the longing and anticipation of returning home as the year ends, featuring track-inspired reflections and anecdotes. Taking over the second part of the show, with a special segment taking us on a heartfelt journey through the stages of relationships is CLEIDO, with a masterful and deeply moving selection of love-inspired sounds and narration.

With Guest: CLEIDO is a proudly Angolan DJ and creative based in London. He was born and raised in South Africa and he has a deep desire to champion the sounds of African dance music. CLEIDO is just 23 years old and serves as the creative director and assistant A&R for the high-flying Afro-House label Sondela Recordings and covers the same role for prominent London based event REUNION. CLEIDO fuses together an eclectic mix of Afro-House with deep house, and melodic techno to cater to audiences with diverse musical tastes and has built up a strong community within his short time of being on the scene. Through each vibrant set delivered by CLEIDO, the crowd is exposed to several unique sounds expertly chosen by him, and he wishes to captivate and dazzle listeners with the rich musical culture that the African continent has to offer with his own signature twist. His prominent rise as a familiar face in both the Afro-House and Melodic Techno scene has allowed him to play alongside notable artists from these genres such as MoBlack, Stephan Jolk, Kevin De Vries, DJEFF, Oscar Mbo, Sebjak, FNX Omar and many others. Although the artist considers himself a “Jack of all trades”, with a broad knowledge of several artistic disciplines, his love for music surpasses them.
