Inspired by the Afro-Cuban traditions I grew up with, “maferefun…” blends my sonic heritage with broader African and diasporic electronic sounds to create the spiritual session of my heart—an intimate space where we can experience collective radical joy and essential healing. It bridges my nostalgia for La Habana with my excitement for the future, all while staying grounded in the present to celebrate the stories of love, resilience, and spirituality that unite us. “maferefun…” is my love letter to my ancestors, the Orishas, and to you.
