Aisha and Yaminah are cousins who grew up immersed in a cradle of art, where identity construction has always been amplified, defying the statistics predicted for young Black women in Brazil. Inspired by this background, they continue with a mission of diasporic connection around the world, exploring music, fashion, and audiovisuals. Since 2016, the duo has been disc jockeying and bringing together a union that is the result of a strong family connection. Aisha is a multifaceted artist, acting as a model, director, DJ, and actress. Meanwhile, Yaminah is a talented musician, plays saxophone and pifano, music producer, model and visual artist. Together, their dance floor is an invitation to experience and learn a little more about Brazil and its trajectories through the Black diaspora. Their genetic heritage connects them to incredible experiences and encounters, making their music and art a unique and authentic expression.
