This episode was recorded on Ghana's Founders Day. Cat Mama World takes a trip to pre-independence day Ghana in "Goodbye Gold Coast", an audio drama by Joewackle J. Kusi.

Joewackle J. Kusi is a Ghanaian writer, filmmaker and podcaster. His focus is on telling stories that have soul. His work includes the feature film, Lucky and a short film called Boys No Dey Cry. He’s the creator and producer of Check Your DM, a podcast that brings real stories of how young African celebrities navigate life, career, dating and sex in the age of social media. He is currently gearing to showcase his audio drama, Goodbye Gold Coast. Which will have an exclusive listening session on the 10th and 21st of September at Alliance Française in Accra, Ghana.

In this episode we talk more about his motivations for pursuing this medium, we talk about the audio drama and even get a sneak snippet into the highly anticipated project. We also listen to some music reminiscent of independence era Ghana.
